Book Five of the De Cenza Murder Mysteries
What begins as a holiday for seven friends on the romantic Isle of Capri becomes a nightmare as they discover a naked man’s body in its famous Blue Grotto. And so begins another De Cenza Murder Mystery which finds Ron De Cenza in Sherlock mode and his best pal, Bob Wentz becoming his Watson. They are joined by a cast of characters which includes his newly professed love of his life, his sister who has eyes for a certain Count of Pianore, and a Papal Guard in love with a research assistant from the Vatican Archives. Together they tangle not only with those who seek the secret of Joseph Bonaparte, brother of Napoleon, but also Captain Enrico Verdi who has come to Capri on his honeymoon and finds himself locking horns with this formidable group of “ragazzi” or young people as he searches for a murderer, while stumbling upon a tale of a former King of Spain and his life in America in the early 19th Century.
